She Passed Her First Test!

Claire came bouncing off the school bus today shouting I passed the test Mommy, I know all my letters and sounds! I got a prize!' I ushered her away out of the street as the bus driver laughed. She was soooooo excited. I asked her what she won, and she showed me a metallic kazoo and a ring. Her teacher had sent a sticky note home last week with a request that we practice the sounds for U (uh), Y (yuh) and I (ih). So we worked with her and it appears to have worked. We have a new sheet of things to work on, so we are busy with that! Bring on the next test!
