Last weekend, Warren swept the roof and cleaned the gutters. Claire climbed up and sat on the ridge while Warren worked. Then of course Graham needed a turn. Once he began to climb the ladder he had second thoughts. He went up there though and promptly came back down. Claire wanted to head back up but I said that was enough, we were done with the whole roof thing.
Tuesday night was the Super Troop Girl Scout meeting. This is an opportunity for girls with no troop to get together and find one or at least participate as a girl scout until a troop in their area opens up. Looks like we got a troop set up and I will begin training as a co-leader next month.
Claire has been wanting to go to the Home Depot morning weekend class for a few weeks. We told her that she would need to get up extra early and if she didn't get up after we tried to get her up then Warren would go back to bed. So needless to say the first week it didn't happen. Warren went in to wake her up and she fell right back to sleep. Around noon she said when are we going to Home Depot? The next weekend was Halloween and she was at grandma's. So we tried again this weekend. Warren woke her up, she popped right out of bed and got herself all ready. She made a trivet for me to keep my hot beverages on. She got an apron, a pin and she even drilled some holes in a paint stick. She is pretty excited for next week.
It happened before I knew it and I was so surprised I was late getting the video, but Graham floated on his back and sang the entire ABC song. So this is the end of the song and you can see how far away from the teacher he had floated. I think he was concentrating on the song so much he didn't realize how long he had been floating.

Warren is making Graham a trivet and the 3 of them are going to paint the new trivets. Next week is conferences for Graham and he has no school Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Claire is out of school Tuesday and Wednesday. We plan on swimming before class, that is something we have missed doing now that Claire is in school all day. We have haircuts planned and other fun stuff we can't do with Claire in school all day. Have a great week! Danielle
