Today Claire came home from school with our scholastic book orders. I picked her up from the bus stop, Graham was napping, so Claire and I walked home together. She was so excited about the books. She said I have a Diego book for Graham in my bag, can I wrap it up for him and give it to him as a surprise? I told her Graham was napping, but when we got home he was awake. So she took some paper, scissors and tape downstairs to wrap. He was so surprised to get a present and it was so sweet of her to think of him. We listened to her new books on CD while I made dinner. It was nice to have company in the kitchen. She seems so much more mature in the last week.
